A chat with Robert Mondavi
So, I didn't chat with Robert, but a friend. Yes, we finished the bottle, and it was a very good day in Louisville's Bardstown Road.
This wine has great color, but I only briefly glanced at it in the setting sunlight. It seems like most of the wine I drink is during the twilight hours - maybe someday I'll figure this one out. It's initially got a plumish taste, then it finishes off with a smokey cherry. Robert Mondavi is a solid wine, and you can't go wrong unless you buy it by the glass rather than by the bottle. :)
