The change of downtown Louisville

A night driving through downtown Louisville made me realize how much I like change; don't get me wrong, the permanent fixtures in downtown life are great. The real things that are appreciated are the things that are only there for a day, and the things that represent the movement of the city.

The Louisville Orchestra's performance of Spooktacular 2009

This year the boys and I went to the Louisville Orchestra's performance of Spooktacular 2009. They had a great time, and we got to see a lot of children in costume parading across the stage. I love the Palace, it's such a great venue.

Breakfast at Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville, KY

I recently had a friend ping me about taking photos of Lynn's Bourbon Ball French Toast. So, I went and ordered a half portion, and only ate half of that. Lynn's is the Creative Class's Cracker Barrel (CB); life would be grand if she franchised Lynn's and it ended up as big as CB.

I locked my bike up, and went in and it was packed for breakfast, so I did my usual for immediate seating, 'Can I sit at the bar?' The hostess said, 'Didn't I see you at AA last week?' I laughed and sat down.

I came close to getting my regular, the veggie biscuits and gravy, but remembered a promise I made to a friend. I could sacrifice myself and eat a custard treat. It was breakfast, and I was riding today. A full order is four pieces of toast, so I got a half order, and ended up taking half of that to go, in a cup, so it would fit in my water bottle cage.

The new ZirMed Towers in Louisville

The new ZirMed Twin Towers have opened up on the west side of downtown Louisville, right across the street from Glassworks, at 888 West Market Street in Louisville, KY. I know they are happy to consolidate their workforce from the three downtown locations. Also, there are residences available in the towers. You can contact City Properties Group about residences. They are going to put in a city owned parking garage adjacent to the Towers.

They have a portfolio of products centering around managing the healthcare revenue cycle, and include eligibility varification, claims management  and a new product, healthcare analytics.
